but not really knowing what was what, I never went down the rabbit hole. very specific, which can be great if you need one specific thing. A few years ago a friend of mine had invested a lot in the Melda stuff, and was showing it to me, and it seemed like an overwhelming list of products that they have. probably like it more just because I like the name Eventide.so not sure if I should buy it before the end of the month on sale. but always looking for great ITB shimmers, and haven't really been able to beat Valhalla's.(Like the Eventide's interface, have been demoing it, but can't say it's a valhalla killer at all. Which plugin of theirs are you talking about? Or do you have to buy the full package? (I guess I don't know how they work yet obviously.). It basically comes with all the Melda effects plug ins (I think it's like 70) and it's still on an introductory price sale. The Strymon stuff might sound better, but this sounded great to me and the flexibility is unparalleled. Loaded up a preset called Melda Shimmer, put a comb filter and a rotary effect in, for fun, and wow. I kind of bought it on sale during the holiday season and put it on the backburner but all this hoopla about Black Hole made me look to see if it did crazy kinds of reverb stuff and boy oh boy does it. I turned to my copy of Melda's MXXX to see if it was something that could get me in the neighborhood of a Big Sky or Mobius.
